Celebrate Eagle Scouts

Troop 753 is proud to announce that five members of our troop have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, scouting’s highest rank. All five of these young men began their scouting careers together in April of 2014.

Ethan Farkos-
Ethan designed and built three large planter boxes for Rainwater Elementary School’s STEM program. Ethan will be attending LSU this fall majoring in Computer Science.

Chase Kimbel-
Chase designed and built five wooden carnival games for Polser Elementary. Chase will be attending University of Texas at Dallas this fall majoring in Software Engineering.

Ali Niaz-
Ali built a 9 square court for Aldersgate UMC. It has been a big hit with both the youth and the Boy Scout troop. Ali will be attending Colorado State University this fall majoring in English Literature.

James Teague-
James constructed and painted eight UIL theater set pieces for Blanton Elementary. James will be attending the University of Texas at Arlington this fall majoring in Theatre Arts.

Jared Sutor-
Jared designed & constructed an ADA compliant ramp for Aldersgate UMC. The new ramp connects the Fellowship Hall to the outdoor youth portables. Jared will be attending Texas A&M this fall majoring in Electrical Engineering.

Jared and James have been in scouting together since they started Cub Scouts in the first grade. They also participated in all four components of the Duty to God religious program through Aldersgate UMC including earning the prestigious Four-Star Award for completing the entire program.
