I don’t know how many times in the last month I have seen people (physically distanced) and as we wrapped up our conversation they said, “It is so good to see you!” It is definitely not because I am something good to look at. But because there is a power in being physically present with people after so long of being distanced. It feels good to see people, it is in a way healing to be with people, especially with people you miss, love, and enjoy being around. Those visits outside in the fresh air has given me so much energy and joy.
I can’t wait for this Sunday, September 13! It will be our first opportunity in 6 months to gather in person for worship. You heard me, IN PERSON WORSHIP!
We announced the news last Tuesday at our Ad Council meeting and the “Fresh Air” event is trending on facebook. We also mailed out our first newsletter highlighting the new service, new sermon series, and the ways we have been impacting our community. I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss out on this opportunity to reconnect and celebrate God with us this Sunday.
The new Service is called Fresh Air, because it will be outside. So bring your lawn chair, something cold to drink, and join me for a very special morning of worship.
Spread the word… Come and get some “Fresh Air” and worship with us at 10:15 a.m. this Sunday!
