A greeting from Pastor Rodney.

We are so glad that you made your way to our website. We hope this can be an entry point where you can gain information and insight into our church. More than anything else, I hope you will view this website as an invitation to visit our church and experience ministry with us firsthand.

Aldersgate United Methodist Church is committed to positively impacting lives and our Community through Jesus Christ. We have a wide variety of ways you can make an impact.

Our goal is to help you find a church home where you feel welcome, respected, valued, loved, and where you can grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. We would be honored and thrilled to share the journey of impacting lives and following Jesus together. Thanks again for visiting our website and I look forward to meeting you in person soon.

Blessings,
Pastor Rodney Whitfield

 What to Expect:

  • A warm greeting.

As you enter the Aldersgate Community virtually or in person the first thing can expect is to be warmly greeted by real people who are trying to following Jesus. You can expect meet people who are not perfect, gathered from all walks of life, professions, neighborhoods, religious backgrounds, to follow Jesus. You will find people authentically working together to welcome and respect all persons, valuing our differences and our unique gifts, and loving our neighbors as Jesus loves us.

  • An opportunity to make a difference.

You can expect to find a team of both paid and unpaid servant leaders dedicated to the mission of impacting lives and our community. You can expect an invitation to joining in that mission. There are opportunities both collectively individual children, youth, and adults can serve each week. Service both within the congregation and in the community.

  • A place to belong.

Aldersgate is not a club or a building, but a movement of people where individuals and families are motivated to live out their faith in practical ways. You can expect to find a place within the movement to share your unique gifts and talents to impact lives and the community. You can expect to find people who want to share the journey of real life - people to lean on in the good times and the hard times
