Holy Week

Holy Week is only 1 week away! 

Holy week is a week of mixed emotions, a week filled with highs and lows, a week in which the followers of Jesus remember the most triumphant and tragic day of Jesus’ life. It is the whole week's worth of  experiences that lead to an even more impactful easter morning.  I invite you to experience it all. I invite you to make a commitment to Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday this year. 

Sunday, April 10, we will celebrate Palm Sunday  as we journey from Jesus' exuberant, triumphant entry into Jerusalem to the cross.  Then, on Thursday night, we will gather around table with our neighbors at Norkirk Presbyterian church for a potluck, celebration of Holy communion, and a hands on mission project.  On Friday night, we will worship in our sanctuary as we recount the deep pain, fear, and helplessness the disciples experienced. 

For the disciples and for each of us,  these last 7 days before Easter can fill our cups so that we might celebrate Resurrection on Easter with great joy.
