Witness

Dear church family, 

This Sunday evening, October 24, 2021, we have an opportunity to be a witness in our community. On Sunday night from 5 - 7pm we will be hosting a Fall Festival for our neighbors and friends. It is a night of trunk or treating, carnival type games, music, costumes, and bounce houses. There will be things for all ages and special treats for all our young children. 

I encourage you to take time to be a witness this week. Invite a neighbor, a friend, or family member out and be part of this great community event. I hope you will take a few minutes and share the event on your facebook page, copy the graphic and put it on nextdoor or your HOA bulletin board, or share in a facebook group you are a member of. By sharing the event, you are helping witness God's free and unconditional love. 

I hope you will go ALL IN, not only participating in the event, dressing up, decorating your car, but also by inviting others to join you. Go ahead and tell everyone about this event, remembering it is completely free and is fun for all ages. If you are hosting a trunk, I encourage you to invite them to come by and see you and take a picture with you that night. But if you are not hosting, meet them at the church, introduce them to others and show them around.

Personal invitation is just one way you and I can fulfill our membership vow of being a witness. And I look forward to seeing you on Sunday in worship and in the parking lot for our 2021 Fall Festival. It isn’t too late to host a trunk or donate some candy for this special event.
